The fractal universe was simply a conjecture that has been shown to be wrong. As Carl himself points out in your video, the fractal universe is a conjecture that could never be proven to be true because of its speculative nature. But it could be proven wrong with data, which it has.

sorry, I do not, any concept based on natural laws endorsing the properties of LIGHT as a FOUNDATION is correct... light particles/photons are fractal, meaning that matter is fractal too as as biophotons are for real and proven today scientifically. The matter of the universe has been determined to be spread evenly throughout, not in fractal patterns. That is the data. Science disproves things. And a fractal universe is one of those disproven things.
Scientists perform many many many experiments. Most of results disprove or show what they did wrong. So they are wrong most of the time. Thinking the universe is fractal is one of those times we were wrong. Occasionally, they stumble upon something that seems to be correct. So they try to think of further ways to disprove that, and if they can't, it then becomes a theory. Theories remain because our best efforts to disprove them fail.
