It's a lot easier to let someone do the thinking/talking while we simply follow, at least that's how I see it. Breaking that hold is going to be extremely difficult
Truly independent thinkers will often end up in isolation, with little or no persons around to hear their voices.
Ironically enough, I often prefer isolation. I can only handle most peoples cult agreements in very small doses.
