Humans, ads and social networks

Hopefully, this will be the natural social network ascendency order. Don't you think so? Well, Orkut was wildly popular in my country, Brazil, instead of myspace. If I were from somewhere else, you'd probably see it at the top instead.

In a world where the most profitable business is advertising other people and their business...

• How we will we find our own identities?

• Could there be something even more profitable than ads in the long term?

• How does it affect our evolution as a species, as we are constantly trained through instant gratification aka notifications?
