TO SOME PEOPLE IN MODERN TIMES,
Being called an "Opportunist" is insulting😄😄😄

It is a term that refers to people who will do ANYTHING to get ANYTHING they want.
They have no core value apart from promoting their own interest.
They have no moral values and can bend the moral code for their own gain.

This is an age-old fallacy.

Opportunism, you see, actually comes with a belief system
... a belief system or philosophy that sees every event as fated.

... and not just fated. Every event CAN be in your favor.

The moment you complain, you fall out of line with the natural order of things.

What an opportunist does is accept the fact that things happen. shit happens!
... and that it is within his/her power to make this a positive.

That, my friend is true OPPORTUNISM!

Seeing opportunity where other people see obstacles!

And It is in fact a great art that was studied and practiced by many ancient cultures.

Odysseus, for instance, the greatest ancient hero of all of Greece was an opportunist.
In every dangerous moment in his life, he tried to exploit his enemies' weakness.
... and he was glorified by the Greeks as one of the few men who had mastered life's unstable circumstances.
