The 2 principles to live by AND to teach your children

These are the 2 principles that if the vast majority of people truly understood and lived by these in their daily lives, there would quite literally be peace on earth, more importantly, FREEDOM and ORDER on earth!

The first principle is one that MOST people live in accordance to in their day to day actions with interacting with people in their daily lives. This is the principle of Non Agression, which simply put; dont be an aggressor, dont attack others, dont violate the rights, freedoms, property and lives of others. I mentioned this in a previous article about morality. Luckily most people already understand this and arent directly going around violating the above mentioned towards other people, generally people keep to themselves and do their best when interacting with others. This is good as it shows the inherent good in mankind, how they wish to be treated and how they wish to treat others.

Although there ARE exceptions to this which I cover later on, on a whole humanity understands not to harm others and for the most part they teach it to their young and lead by example.

The second principle is JUST AS important as the first, this is the Self Defence Principle, which simply put; if someone DOES try to initiate violence onto you, then you have moral RIGHT to use defensive force necessary to put down that action which intended to violate and harm YOU. This is for the exceptions of mankind that I mentioned earlier as there will always be people out their who DO want to harm others, perhaps they were not taught these 2 principles growing up or they may be primary or secondary psychopathic and just want to harm other people.

This 2nd principle is one that many seem to shy away from, especially when that which is used to defend ones self or others is a fire arm or any other tool that can inflict DEADLY force onto another. But it is important to note that you do INDEED have that right to use up to(and including) deadly force to defend ones self or another, be it someone who is trying to rape, murder, steal, enslave or any other violation, you ALWAYS have that right.

Now, if the vast majority of people lived by and taught these 2 principles to the next generation and thus you raise a society like that, you will have one that truly lives by non aggression towards their fellow man and will be tolerant and peaceful towards each other. And then when the odd non principled 'bad' person (or even group of people) comes a long, you will have a society of individuals who are mentally, emotionally and physically equipped and prepared to defend themselves against said aggressor.

And since it would be a society where MOST people understood and lived by these principles, there would be fewer people who would even think about trying to violate the rights, freedoms and lives of others.

THAT is how one should live when treating others, non aggressively (which many do)
THAT is how one should protect themselves against others, with self defence (against aggressors)

In short, Do No Harm but Take no shot from anyone who tries to do YOU harm.

Mark Passio has delved into this in his presentations:

is it not incredible that there are only 11 votes on this amazing post and no comments? Where is the lively discussion? I upvoted and resteemed - first though, I saw this post listed on the Great Work page on FB -

disheartening. I am a big fan of Mark Passio - have listened to all podcasts in order, and done a lot of research and try to live this way. I have been living by NL principles a long time, but as with everything else, I found from listening to MP that they had been infultrated with some solypsistic ideas that I needed to iradicate as a result of getting the clarity from Mark's research.

i have been on steemit for 2 years and it seems that initially there were a lot of people who were interested in learning and talking about Natural Law... but the thing about Natural Law is that it is a "long day in school" - it's not a "quick fix" - that you can just use to point out what others are doing wrong- cuz those 3 fingers are pointing back at you - right? We speak of intolerance while we are intolerant ourselves...

NL has to be lived, and demonstrated - and people need to be attracted to it by seeing others live this way. For example - this idea of using force when attacked - I had to spend some time on that - because I was indoctrinated - being female and a right-brained artist - I was a coward - so I had to listen to this over and over and apply it in my life and understand also the principle of non-authority - and unindoctrinate myself from the ideas that "elected" people can "re-present" me - so much had to be stripped away from me before I could really understand this stuff.

Once I started to come out of the fear, i realized that we have just been lying down and letting the cops run us ripshod - there seems to be no line that we have drawn in the sand where we say enough is enough - ie where I live in Denver, there is no "open-carry" - so the cops have total rule over everyone - we have come to live in a state of duress - it reminds me of the book "They Thought They Were Free" by Meyer - re the Nazi's -

Most people like to be slaves I guess. Remember - in the Old Testament when the Jews asked for a King - sad. It's still that way today.

I look forward to hear more from you!
