Great post, awesome job on the diagram.
One thing I would like to mention about the diagram he's posted is that humans can exist in any of those consciousness states, the non-human lower order state is not reserved for non-humans. I would say this is where the majority of humans are currently stuck. Think about it, what do most people care about? Shelter, eating, sleeping, sex and entertainment. Purely base-level desires driving base-level thought and action.

Thanks ;) I agree with what you're trying to say. But the two bottom levels, and each above, is relative to the others in a certain way.
Nonhuman animals are psychological beings, but of a lower order potential. They are limited to that level. Humans have higher order potential. It is a capacity by default. We can think more, and at higher levels that animals, by our construct alone. Great potential to change things, even at a base lower consciousness default level. We are automatically predisposed to be able to do more than the nonhumans. Then within a human being, there are higher potential levels to actualize ;)
The second from the bottom can be lower order consciousness as a human, within the default higher order consciousness compared to nonhumans. Even if some people only live in lower order human consciousness, it's still a higher order functionality than other nonhumans. The 2nd from bottom, Human default being, is lower order compared to higher order above it, but it's still higher order compared to lower order constructs of non humans.
