Before you ask, it is a made up word, but I do think it's very suited to peak anyone's curiosity. You see, we all have this issue, we all have wondered at some point in time if someone meant the words they texted in anger, sarcastically or whatnot. Truth is that emojis where really born out of a necessity to clear up these misunderstandings, and I can't help to wonder how this will continue to evolve.

Of course we could talk about how we just need to leave our phones, our screen aside and talk face to face with each other, but let's face reality: We are headed on the opposite direction, we are likely to improve our digital means of communication and interaction that revert to the old school way of doing things. Of course, I'm not implying this is good or bad, I'm simply stating it as a visible current course we are taking as a society.

Now the very reason why I'm thinking about this very thing on a Saturday morning, is because I saw a great example of how projection plays a role in the miscommunication. This is to say that our biases, our current mood even, tinge our interpretations and more often that not miss the mark.

At this point nobody can argue that twitter has become a hub of communication. It's so widely used that today, and this is not a joke, we know what is happening to our country, what our president is thinking, via twitter. If this is right, if it's wrong, who knows, it just is. But, the point I'm trying to make is that out of the millions of millions of tweeted communications that happen, I'm sure the percentage of misunderstandings is superbly high. It's gotten to the point to where some consider twitter troll central, and even though there is a considerable amount of trolling, I'm sure that out of those that get labeled trolls everyday a considerable percentage are just misunderstood.

I'm always scouring crypto-twitter for the latest news, and follow many leaders of the space on there just to keep myself updated. As you might imagine, when they voice their opinions there is always a follower or two that says something "wrong" and others who need to put that person in "their place". Plenty of assumptions have to be taken here, people have to assume someone is being trolly, negative for no reason, speaking out of ignorance, etc, and the more natural reaction to the somewhat aggressive "attitude check" is more often times that not unpleasant.

That being said, in the little screenshot I'm sharing, it actually shows Digital Runaway being the better person here and retracting the aggressive questions. He goes as far as to appreciate Pierre's knowledge. But, read Pierre's first comment, and attempt to imagine a friendly person simply stating, possibly with a smile, his current position on the price of BTC. The point is, his tweet can be interpreted as someone trying to FUD, as someone being genuinely concerned, or a someone who actually knows Technical Analysis, the last one being the correct one in this instance.

Moral of the story my friends is that when we read something that angers us, it's probably wise to take a step back and think about it. Maybe we are projecting, maybe the person meant it differently, and maybe our digital communication tools are not quite there for us to make judgement calls that quickly.

Food for thought, as they say.

I believe nowadays people love to talk digitally than by seeing the person real face to real face which can not be denied

There are people who are more pleasant communicating through social networks, than in their personal life ... undergo a virtual metamorphosis!

Twitter and the digital world is definitely not the best place to take things in at face value which is a challenge given that it is a source of news for many of us. Many must be judgemental on how to apply and interpret what they read there and onlynuse it for perspective before forming their own opinions.
