Do what you love, because...?
If more people read philosophy early on, esp advaita vedanta and the likes, and understood that all of existence is pointless and that this world is just a garden and you've come here for a walk, more people would have taken up things that they like and lived life their way, rather than their life being dictated by societal norms/ peer pressures.

It’s probably a bit too late when they found out they had wasted so much time and energy on trying to be miserable!!
One needs courage to look at things as they are and as one truly is!
