The start-up

in #philosophy5 years ago

Walid looked out the window a few hundred yards from the fence. Although he was a child, or perhaps because of that, he had great ambitions. He wanted to be famous. Make money. In America, he saw his old iPhone, people make millions of ideas. With all the aversion to the American devil, the dream fascinated Valed. Seeing how a good idea transforms worlds and transforms destinies and contributes to the success of the founder. East of Khan Younis, inside a dilapidated house, a fire burned in Walid, who decided he was making his fate.

Walid's mind was managed by two factors - the environment that gave him a pragmatic aspect, and the Internet that gave him an ideal touch. He would read which start-ups have established the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. electric car. High-tech workplaces. Social Networks. Alternative Taxi Company. Each of them looks amazing and yet very difficult to perform in the vicinity of Walid. At first he wanted to set up a social network, but soon he got out of it. He did not know how to find people who would write the code, and assumed that the young people were already using a different social network.

In a moment of crisis, Walid considered giving up. The dream seems distant and imaginary, while reality in Gaza is alive and kicking. The hunger gnawed at him, and the daily work of bread made his ambitions and made him focus on the existence. Unexplained willpower attracted him to explore the matter again. This time he did not look at the successful start-ups, but focused on their factors for success. He tried to connect all the successful ideas he had known. Facebook connects two billion people around the world, the workplaces provide offices to thousands of companies, and over millions of people around the world. The basic idea concerns many. It crosses countries. It can be replicated and it changes world order. Before Facebook, people would communicate with each other in miles, and before Ober there were taxis. But most importantly, all start-ups relied on a basic need - transportation, work, company. How can you make a similar effect on a leash?

When he felt encouraged and full of information, Walid was inadvertently exposed to another difficulty and burned his hands. He saw that the most promising start-ups needed hundreds of millions of dollars just to survive and try to succeed. From the status and location of his age, and Walid did not understand the meaning in depth, but the only criterion he had was the Hamas fundraising, which was estimated at a similar amount. A thought flickered into Walid's mind and made him laugh. Hamas is like a start-up that constantly raises money and affects the lives of millions.

Walid was also aware of the significance of Hamas, relatives and friends agreed to risk their lives for a decent income for their family. Some even lost their lives along the way. But Walid could not be like them. He had bigger ambitions than that. Walid looked up from the phone and looked at the fence again from the open window. A wind blew through the window despite the relative heat. How can we raise funds, change the existing situation, and cross countries with a simple idea that can be replicated?

The flashed thought and the pragmatic ground finally merged with the ideal and became one. Walid decided he had to try the idea before he changed his mind. He ran to the nearest grocery store with a single shot he had saved. When he reached the barren yard outside his house, he found the kite he had bought and the matches. He tied paper to a kite and threw it through the yard. Walid's cousins, who looked at Valed in amok, looked curiously and asked him what he was doing. Since he did not answer, all they had to do was wait and see. The kite sailed into the air and the fire, which at first seemed to be an aesthetic element, became the most deadly when it crossed the fence and burned more intensely when it ignited a field beyond the fence. Smoke was visible from afar and a few minutes later a fire burned on the other side of the fence. Like the idea of the start-up, the small fire became great and occupying.

When Walid's cousins saw what was happening, they slapped him on the back in appreciation and immediately went to the grocery store to buy kites and matches. Curious people went out to watch. Local news covered what was going on. The next day Hamas was also aware of the gifted boy. He turned to him and asked him to teach people how to make fire kites in the best possible way. For his efforts, he and his family paid a handsome hand.

With a momentary flash and money in his hand, Walid planned what the next start-up would look like.
