House of Harichkov

The estate, planned in the 1870s, used to be located in the center of the quarter. After the Observatory (now Chekhovsky) lane was laid at the beginning of the 20th century, the site became angular. The landlord, the merchant J. Kharichkov, built the house that had been built to date by the project of the architect Martin Klug in 1907. Since 1911, the site belonged to the noblewoman V. Kmito. At that time, there were three shops and two apartments on the first floor of the house, and three apartments on the second floor - the fourth.
