This photo is my entry for the 'Plants/Animals' #photochallenge and #wednesdayphotochallenge contest initiated by @photochallenge.

In these small, red bugs a lot of positive. It seems to me that they stop their movement, only in moments of danger.

They seem defenseless, but, it is not. They have few enemies. Birds and animals try to avoid ladybirds. They secrete a yellow, poisonous secret that scares all enemies.

At the same time, ladybugs are active predators. They hunt aphids and other small insects.
