Markets are a great way to keep in touch with community. We have a small market once a week a few blocks from here which starts this weekend. I'm looking forward to buying local from the farmers.
You are right @countrygirl. Buying from farmers directly will greatly help them because they are economically limited. They will be very happy if we buy the goods they sell, even though they do not earn much profit.
