"Frozen Twilight"

After the hot Caribbean mood, here's a bit of those winter vibes.

This is a picture of the frozen Houhai Lake in Beijing. This picture is the epitome of what photography is to me. I did not plan anything. I just walked down to the lake which is 10mins away from where I live (thankfully, I had packed my gear). When I got there, the whole lake was frozen, to my great surprise (and pleasure). I jumped on the occasion and took a stroll on the lake (many people were there, ice skating, walking around, chilling etc... It was freakin' awesome!). I searched for an interesting composition (it might not be for everyone... But it was for me :D) and here is the result.
