The Storm/Гроза
Summer memories.
The whole city waited for this storm all day. Already at nine in the morning it was unbearably hot on the streets. I could only hope that the weather forecast will be accurate this time. And now - thunder, rain and a little coolness. Disconnected at home air conditioning, working as a Stakhanovite - for days on end. The windows were opened. There was a weak likeness of a draft. The children climbed on the balcony on the stool to watch a shower. Soon it was over. The sun again began to get out from behind the clouds with the smirk of a drunken stoker.
Летние воспоминания.
Целый день город ждал эту грозу. Уже в девять утра на улицах было невыносимо жарко. Оставалось только надеяться на то, что прогноз погоды на этот раз будет точным. И вот - гром, ливень и небольшая прохлада. Отключили дома кондиционер, трудящийся как стахановец - целыми днями. Открыли окна. Появилось слабое подобие сквозняка. Дети залезли на балконе на табуретки смотреть ливень. Вскоре всё закончилось. Солнце вновь стало вылезать из-за туч с ухмылкой пьяного кочегара.
