Yellowstone: Fire and Ice

Yellowstone National Park is my favorite place to visit. It was my favorite family vacation growing up, and I've visited several times in the last couple years and the last visit I was able to get out and photograph the milky way. We pulled an all nighter, which we paid for the next day.

This photo was taken at Black Sand Basin. The light on the left is from the Old Faithful Lodge. Steam from the geysers made for a dreamy view of the stars.
