Helicopter Landing in a Field to go for Recon Flight for Forest Fire

Photo taken circa 2012 west of Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada. This was my first year fire fighting and I never saw a year as intense until the last couple of years. Fortunately I've moved on to other things (and places!), and no longer have to endure the hardships of such a physically and psychologically challenging lifestyle.
