Good Morning Steemians,
This composition belongs to Chumathang valley, which is situated in Ladaki region of North India on Indo-China border.
I have been in Ladakh many times but never been to this valley. For so many years this valley was completely closed for everyone due to Indo-China border activities. Now days tourist can visit this valley after getting inner line permit from Let city.
It is 138 km (86 miles) southeast of Leh, and 41 km northwest of Nyoma, and 29 km (18 miles) from Kiari, where there is a small medical centre run by the Indian army. It lies in the banks of Indus River.
This place also famous as dry desert, situated on elevation on 4000 meters, with 40% oxygen level. There are many 6000+ meter high peaks which can be climbed by trekking only. The mountains are very wide and colorful. This valley is a must visit place.
