High Desert Beam
Upper Antelope Canyon is a marvelous place to see something unique, at a certain time a light beam will appear and then soon after will fade away. It's amazing to watch the red sandstone chamber light up with beautiful color, as the sun moves overhead and the light finds a crack in the chasm giving us this spectacle to view.
The best time of year to see the light beams is mid day around and during the summer solstice when the sun moves directly overhead. Antelope Canyon is located in northern Arizona USA, just outside the city of Page and can be quite crowded at times.
Awesome shot! I don't remember seeing this one before, I'd say it's as good as the other main ones you sell of that area. It's really cool how the rivets on the left side almost look like a ladder going up into the heavens or something like that. Nice work!
