Just Passing By

in #photofeed6 years ago

It looked like a caravan of clouds, moving in earnest across the mountains and valleys of northern Arizona as if it were on an important mission. Like maybe delivering some rain showers to some unsuspecting, random piece of land. What a view it had crossing over the red rock country of Sedona Arizona USA.

Happy Sunday from Sedona!

Sort:

Happy Sunday friend. An another adventure, Is Sedona zone mainly a hot or cold place? Because from many months I see only clean and beautiful days but never seen a foggy days.

Another adventure indeed! Fog is rare here it's mostly a dry climate except for the summer monsoon season. It's also very hot during the summer months but moderate during the winter with some freezing temperatures and occasional snowstorms. Greetings friend.

Hello @irvinesimages, beautiful photo, good and I have said this many times, however I think I will keep saying it.
The sky looks beautiful with this blue color and the clouds like cotton flakes.
Maybe you do not realize that I always look at the sky, that's where I find so much beauty.
Blessings:)

Hello Martha, the repetition doesn't bore me, there's just certain words that work the best. I agree with you about the sky. I find the land stays orderly but the sky is always moving and changing. It can go from peaceful to chaotic quickly. Greetings!

Whoa.. What a view! There's a lot going on there from top to bottom. Also it's cool how the thundercloud above Cathedral almost sort of mimics it. Very cool shot!

It was neat to watch the clouds moving by and reforming along that same line and then catching the big one over Cathedral Rock. What fun, thanks!

wow great place my frend
very nice photography
i love Arizona

That's good to hear and thanks for that. I love it as well! It's a great place to live.

So awesome :) great to see, as always. Are there usually quite a lot of clouds over Sedona n.p? Does it get much rain? I am curious as I know it’s near California which a a very dry state.
Love the expanse in this image :)

Good to hear' the frequency of clouds is variable depending on the fluctuating climate. Some years are dry and some are wet. Last year we had no rain September through December where as this year September through now we are in a wet pattern with numerous weather events. Arizona is considered to have a dry climate.

@irvinesimages,Sir looks like a picture to wake up.

Thank you sir, to me it was better than a cup of coffee.
