Pacific Coast Sunset
The views from Panoramic Drive and Pan Toll Road are absolutely stunning. I took this photo a year ago from a hilltop above Pan Toll Road in the Mt. Tamalpais area north of San Francisco. After climbing to the top, I spent more than an hour watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, casting it's surreal light on the grass covered hills below me. As much as I like the northern lakes and mountains of Idaho, there are few other places I've been as beautiful as this.

Wow that light is so soft. This is a surreal photo. I would love to explore that area. I have only stopped over in San Fran on transit.
This light only lasted for a few minutes as the last of the sun dipped below the horizon. Thanks!
