My grandma used to grow kalanchoe plants in pots in her house. :)) She had aloe vera plants too, and she used both those plants for their healing properties.

Do you remember how she was using this one? I have aloe too, but it is so stinky that I don't use it. Just let it grow.
I think she used kalanchoe to make herbal tea for colds and sore throat. Not 100% sure though. And she put cut aloe leaves on burns and cuts.
Wonder if it's drinkable :p
The aloe I agree.. its good for sunburns too.
Oh yes, I used organic aloe vera last summer for that purpose after my neck and arms had got sunburned in South Korea. :))
