Black and White Portrait Photography

In the middle of having a conversation with my old friend, I found this guy who was smoking in the corner of the bench. I switched to closer position in order to have some portrait clicks. Upon his permission, I started to take his portrait along with another folk.

Mak Usof is his name, he was my childhood friend, a friend who spent a lot of time playing around the pond. As a farm son, he was one of industrious guy that I met in my village.

Mak Usof adalah namanya, ia adalah teman masa kecilku, seorang teman yang menghabiskan banyak waktu bermain di sekitar kolam. Sebagai seorang putra petani, dia adalah salah satu pria rajin yang saya temui di desa saya

Another guy was Bang Him, he was the pond guard whose job was to control the security around the fish pond.

Pria lain adalah Bang Him, dia adalah penjaga kolam yang tugasnya adalah mengendalikan keamanan di sekitar kolam ikan.

This photo came from the gas station, where most of the vendors are used to seeking good luck from their snacks. We can find them in any station throughout the cities.
