RE: #BeautifulSunday: A SUNNY DAY IN JÖNKÖPING
I see a bit of the fall colours have arrived.
I'm curious if Nokia phones are still popular in Europe. :)

It is an early autumn here, for sure!
They are getting popular again – not still, because it’s not the old Nokia (that one is pretty much dead). It’s new guys who license Nokia’s brand to manufacture their own Android smartphones and label them as Nokia. They have great built quality, nice design, nice specs, and price that’s twice as low comparable to similar phones from Samsung or Apple. They’re huge in markets like India, but even here in Europe they’re getting increasingly popular among people who don’t like overpaying for their smartphone and who like to have stock Android as their phone’s OS.
I don't think they will spend their marketing dollars here to try to win small share of a small market.
They probably won’t be able to compete with more well-established brand and their high-end models. Nokia tries to position itself in developing countries and emerging markets, and also among the frugal-conscious consumers in developed countries.
Busybody me went to check a popular online stall . Seems it's possible to get it here.
