Towards sunset...

One of the sunsets from the last days of February...

Shot it on the 26th, in a sequence as the sun went down.
Thought you might enjoy it...

As the sun hides, only rays are seen from behind that huge dark cloud, and from a hole in it
Also, some clouds are illuminated by the rays

Here comes the sun...
It peeps from beneath that cloud
And I managed to catch a starburst!

Here the huge dark cloud dissipates and huge cloud is no more
You can actually see it disintegrating, with bits 'flowing' upwards...
while the sun sets...

        What a beautiful way to end the day! I have always loved the visual, as the sun comes down to kiss the earth goodnight.

          Me too... somehow there's something magical watching the sun kiss the land... and for me, also getting a full clear globe or round sun, without it being just a burst of blinding brightness! Lol...
