A Punk Caterpillar?

I was sitting outside at my cousin's place yesterday when I noticed this caterpillar on the chair next to me. I managed to snap a pretty good photo with my IPhone 5s! To me he looks like he's on his way to a punk rock concert - covered in reddish brown, yellow, black and white spines. I'm not sure what kind of moth or butterfly it will turn into, do you know? It was taken near Vancouver, Canada.

I'm still on vacation for 6 more days, then I'll get back to my studio to finish up my "Steem" inspired painting "Steemland". I hope you'll stay tuned! -Adam
