Survey says Facebook has lost interest to young people

The question was raised for a while, whether or not Facebook users can maintain their confidence. On Thursday, a study conducted by Pew Research Center revealed that there was an alarm for Facebook. The survey says that the youth of the United States is not attracting Facebook. So long as a large part of the young people on Facebook, they are now leaning on platform like YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat. Pew Research released the survey on Thursday.

According to a report by Peway, 51 percent of the youth aged 13 to 17 years are using Facebook. In comparison, the user rate of the user is 85 and Instagram is 72 percent. Snapshot is using 69 percent.

Prior to the 2014-2015 Peway survey, 71 percent of the young people were using Facebook. At that time Facebook was the top platform for the youth as a popular platform.

Monica Anderson, a Pew Research researcher, said that the situation in which social contact was preceded by young people just three years ago, the current situation is quite different. The social media of the youth spread far apart from Facebook. They are not stuck in any platform. Now they are connected in more digital ways than before.

This year's survey found that 95 percent of Americans have smartphones and 45 percent of them are online. Like 31 percent, social impact is positive. 24 percent think the impact is negative.

Today, the world's largest social networking website, Facebook, with over 200 million users. But some experts and some experts say that due to the emergence of Snapshot and Facebook-owned Instagram, youth are losing interest in Facebook. Earlier, similar information came to the study of e-marketing named by another research firm.

According to e-marketing data, users in the United States will lose more than 20 million users under the age of 24. Compared to that older people on Facebook grow.
According to Piper Jeffrey, Snap Top Popular Media Among Young Americans 47 percent of the young users favor it.

Meanwhile, a report by the Indo Asian News Service said that Facebook is an online forum for the popular website in the United States. According to Amazon's Web Traffic Analyst Platform Alexa Rank, Facebook has pushed Facebook into the third position of the ranking.

At the top of the list is almost like Google Next is a YouTube owned YouTube. After e-commerce giant Amazon, there are reddit and Facebook.

Hello @alamk, it's very true that many young people will loose interest in Facebook. New social media platforms are coming and as such most young people will shift interest. Even steemit is another platform that when more young people discover it, they'll leave Facebook.
