palm frond abstraction- & material for a plastic bag replacement?

I see this plant debris everywhere in my #beach #neighborhood I was contemplating that in fact- this material might be suitable for a woven shopping , reusable bag - that is cheap to make and completely biodegradable- We have banned the #plastic bag in San Diego county so we need a replacement - a good time to be in the reusable bag business in southern California for sure.
