You may be right about the trees dying since it looks like the fungi are headed towards that route as well. They look pretty big also and that is surprising that you haven’t found more. Nice photos! Take care!😁👋
Yeah, funny thing is they weren't ever seen around here before - maybe the spores were brought here by the tree cutters... When they cut, they dropped the spores which grew out of the trees they cut... lol. Sounds like a tongue twister! 😝
