RE: Hiking Up Mt. Olympus In Greece 🇬🇷

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

lol
Thanks, but, my story is one story written over 13 books (has taken me 18 years and I am writing book 14 now) with each book about 2000 pages long.

Book 1 is being posted by me on Steemit

It is a fantasy story about a girl born with a mutation: She is an empath. As she connects with others, their minds are also opened and they grow new gifts, which they then all share.

Robert, her husband, takes them to Mytikas for a picnic. 2 tourists arrive, sweaty, proud of their achievement and find a family with small kids having a picnic. The one guy is a nice guy, so the girls play with him and pretend they are waiting to see the home of the gods appear. Clouds form, and as they open, he sees the home of the gods (created of course by the children)...They then tell him the truth and he becomes one of them as they help him contact his soul and open his mind.

Not easy to make a movie of it, is it?

Alla, se efharisto gia tin skepsi.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to answer; meno stin Notio Afriki

That sounds like a very interesting story, I will check out Book 1 on steemit.
It is interesting that the empath is the mutant, I always like this quote from Krisnamurti:
"It's no measure of good health to be well adjusted to a fundamentally sick society."
Perhaps the world has mutated, the pendulum that swings from competition to cooperation has swang to full competition. One day, inevitably, it will start swinging back to cooperation, perhaps showing us that we all have the capacity to be empaths.
That little part of your story you shared in the comment above, does produce a lot of beautiful imagery, btw.

An interesting point: The main characters are Robert and Cherine. Robert is from his mothers' side half Cypriot and half Irish and his father is English (not specified which part of England). Cherine is English.

Robert grows to love Greece and because of him, his entire family (he ends up with over 50 wives) think of Greece as their home and love it.

There is a moment when Alki, their closest friend, sees that Samantha (daughter of Robert) has walked out of the nightclub and is standing on the beach, tears running down her cheeks. He goes to her and senses that Athens has touched her, called to her heart and he is very moved.

I've only lived 11 years in Greece and Athens is not an easy city to love, but I loved the way of life and the people and I have shared this love of Greece and all things Greek with all my "family", despite them living in a different reality.
