The Kitten Who Loved Leaves
This is Josephine, the kitten who loved leaves.
Josephine was a tiny and very ladylike cat, her favourite place to rest, sleep or relax was surrounded by leaves. Oddly she never bothered with birds sitting in the same tree or bush that she had selected for her afternoon nap, although she hated flies for some reason that is beyond me.
As for ladylike, Josephine was elegant and oh so delicate in just about everything that she did, if for some season you had offended her sensibilities a full on slap with the paw was always on the cards, but rarely the claw, a lady just does not do such things.
Josephine passed some time ago and I thought that I had lost this, my favourite picture of her. Having found it, want to share it and I hope that you enjoy the picture of our little lady as much as we do.
Most cats had short hair until about 100 years ago, when it became fashionable to own cats and experiment with breeding.
