The Beauty of Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Aceh

One corner of the beauty of Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia. This pride of Aceh mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in Southeast Asia.

The mosque was also a silent witness to the horrors of the 2004 tsunami, and also became one of the buildings that saw firsthand the Acehnese resistance to the Dutch colonial.

Salah satu sudut keindahan Masjid Raya Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia. Masjid kebanggaan warga Aceh ini adalah salah satu masjid terindah di Asia Tenggara.

Masjid ini juga merupakan saksi Bisu Kedahsyatan musibah tsunami 2004,dan juga menjadi salah satu bangunan yang melihat langsung perlawanan Aceh terhadap kolonial Belanda.

Foto di atas saya abadikan sewaktu pagi, sehabis shalat subuh. Tampak menara masjid dengan latar semesta yang jingga bercampur merah.
