Hummingbird moth flies to blossoming cherry
I spun around the cherry tree and suddenly saw an interesting insect in the air.
Apparently this is something like a hummingbird moth. Surprisingly, I managed to catch the focus on this insect. This also speaks in favor of the idea that this is not an ordinary fly or a bee, because they do not hang in the air in one place.
I've never seen such insects live. But @mweich published his photos of these insects. And if you look closely, on this photo you can see an insect with a long proboscis. That's why I decided that this is a hummingbird moth.
It's a pity that my lens has such a small increase ...
I recommend to open the photo in a separate tab to appreciate it.

Thank you! 8)
Гугл переводит, что это колибри...? )
По-русски это звучит Бражник - колибри в мире бабочек.
А по английски какая-то "моль-колибри" 8)))
Дело в длинном хоботке и в том как оно летает.
Благородная моль...
That’s such a cool photo! Well done being able to capture it in focus considering how fast it’s moving :)
Thank you! I think it's just a matter of luck 8)
Good capture, haha they are rather fast aren't they?
Thank you! 8)
I do not even know how I did it. I thought that catching an insect in focus will not work. But if I remember correctly, the insect would hang in the air for a little while.
