Wednesday walk: Snow, shadows and fun

This is my entry for the @tattoodjay's Wednesday walk challenge. Last weekend, my relatives and I went to our parents' summer home. The Russians have such popular fun - to remove the snow. I do not know how to say this correctly in English. My translator writes some nonsense. But I still try to tell you about it. When there is a lot of snow in winter, there is a risk of damage to various buildings and structures, such as greenhouses or rooftops. Therefore, in the winter the Russians are forced to clean them from the snow. Before the weekend a couple of days it was snowing, so we could not get to the summer house and we had to leave the car for about 500 meters. Then we followed the tracks of the fishermen. On the way, I noticed the long shadows in the snow. Later I will tell about it in more detail. Arriving at the place we set to work. We had to remove the snow from the walls of the two greenhouses and around them. The second task was to throw snow into the greenhouses. This seems to be done so that the earth in them is hydrated by spring. I try not to delve into these matters. No time to reason. I take a shovel more snow and throw further. Finally, we still have to remove the snow around the house and clean the tracks. As you can see, snow has piled up almost to the waist. When work is done, I allocate 5 minutes to take some photos. After all, I want to tell about this adventure in #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. Having made my way through the snow to a small lake, I find on it long long shadows from trees. I make a couple of attempts to make a landscape photo. It seems this photo came out quite good. I have other photos of this place taken in summer and autumn. It will be necessary to show them in a separate post. And of course I remembered that the theme of the Shadow Photo Contest by @melinda010100 on this week is Line Shadows. So I made several attempts to make an interesting photo with line shadows. I could not make masterpieces. But I played a little with geometry and perspective. Those photos that I liked the most, I will show separately in the post for the Shadow Photo Contest. That's so funny, we walked at the weekend. Luckily, our cars were not stuck in the snow and we got home quickly and easily. After such an active walk we were waiting for a delicious lunch and rest.
