Baby Ducklings!
We've got a Common goldeneye momma with her ducklings in a pond near our house.
A couple a days ago I went there to take some pictures.
When I arrived I found only two ducklings swimming in the pond, but suddenly I heard something in the background. It was the Common goldeneye momma who was running with her ducklings to the nearby lake.
What a lovely sight!
Unfortunately two of the ducklings got left behind. They are now living on their own in the pond.
Hopefully momma duck comes back and picks them up later.
Otherwise, they will probably not survive! :/

The third photo is my favorite of these. I love how the mother bird looks, as the eyes make her look constantly frightened.
