The next shot was one of my first manual focus captures ever.

After getting the Sony a7 all we had were the lenses bought for our older Nikon, so we had to get an adapter in order to be able to use them with the new Sony body.

That adapter cuts all the electronic communications between the lens and the camera, meaning the auto focus, image stabilization and all those normal "luxuries" are gone.
No other option but to pull your sleeves up and start developing those old school skills!
