RE: This is how a hospital in Enschede looks like
I've heard an argument that there's no reason why hospitals are so ugly - they are supposed to heal patient, so they should look like a place for living. Makes sense. Don't know how the interiors in that hospital are, but the exterior at least is beautiful. I would've guessed it is a university, music house or something like that.
Haven't taken much pictures of my local health care center (hospitals are in the bigger cities nearby), but here's one picture where you can see it in the background.
Not ugly, but not that modern either. Interiors though have that typical sterile look with white walls. I think they could use some color, maybe paintings on the wall. Right now the most colorful things there are the kid' toys. In my local high school - where I used to study - one artistic dude got a permission to do a painting/graffiti covering a big portion of the white wall in a hallway, which was pretty cool - more stuff like that, please!
That makes perfect sense how you say it. Never thought about that!
Oh man, that's quite a difference. They should def. hang some art on the walls! I did know that patients "heal better" or something when they have something inspirational/motivational/just beautiful on the wall.
Too bad that fence in the way though Celestal xD
Not a fence, but just a frame for showcasing candidates for elections :D
