The Horsehead Nebula (IC 434) is a dark nebula in the constellation Orion. The nebula is located just to the south of the star Alnitak, which is farthest east on Orion's Belt, and is part of the much larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. The nebula was first recorded in 1888 by Scottish astronomer Williamina Fleming. The Horsehead Nebula is approximately 1500 light years from Earth. It is one of the most identifiable nebulae because of the shape of its swirling cloud of dark dust and gases, which bears some resemblance to a horse's head when viewed from Earth. (dixit Wikipedia)

To take this photo i used the following setup:
Scope: TS Optics ts 80/352 astroimaging
Mount: AZEQ6
Camera: Atik One 6.0

The total exposure is around 1.5 hours in october 2016. As my camera is black & white i use RGB filters to build the chrominance layer, and stack several photo on each filter to maximize signal over noise.

6 photos of 5 min flitering Luminance except UV
6 photos of 5 min filtering Red
5 photos of 5 min filtering Blue
1 photos of 5 min filtering Green

I used the software Prism 10 to manage the capture, the pre-treatment (Removing offset, dark and flat). The stacking and the post-treatment was done with Pixinsight and at the end Photoshop.
