Dimitsana Arkadias a beautiful village with great History!
It's been awhile since I participated on @photochallenge contest, mainly it was because the lack of time and secondary, because of the main reason i didn't have any good photo to participate.
On my vacations i had the needed free time to wander around and take some interesting photos!
One of those is the beautiful village of Dimitsana Arkadias, with altitude 950m located on the west side of Mountain Mainalo and it's one of the most historical villages of Greece since pioneered in the Revolution of 1821.
The site of today's Dimitsana was the ancient Arcadian city of Teethis, which had participated in the Trojan War and in the settlement of Megalopolis.
