The Aiguille du Midi Cable Car [Photo of the Day #264]

This cable car connects Chamonix with the Aiguille du Midi peak. From 1035 m to 2317 m in the first hop, and then in second all the way to the 3 842 m high peak. Amazing ride in an amazing gondola with more than beautiful view all the way to the top. Another stunning info is that this gondola was built in the year 1955.
