Amatola day 1
It all started bright and early. It was actually still dark. We woke up got everything packed and headed to the starting point. Sadly plans don't always go as planned and we ended up starting much later.
Along the trail we walked past some small mountain rivers and some really really tall trees.
This was one of my favorite pictures from this hike as it was from a old pine forest used for wood.
The forests we walked through was a treat but it was really sad to see all the pine forests. I much rather enjoy the natural ingredients South African forests.

Amatola? Have not done this one. I see it is near King Williams Town and there is actually water in the waterfalls..{sigh}..Cape Town hot DRY hot DRY and windy.... enjoy the quiet of nature.
