A Sad Caterpillar

Brother, a voice who calling me was breathless from my younger brother. This is one strange caterpillar, I am amused to see it. From my room i came out to see it.

I spontaneously laughed... HAHAHAHHAHA

Look, it's so funny, Its face looks very sad.

Without fear, or amusement, I bring this caterpillar out, and put it on a rock. In fact, iam entertained by it presence.... LOL

When viewed from the top position, it looks a little scary, because the shape and color of the skin is almost like a snake. However, if noted from the front side, his face is very similar to the face of a pug dog Canis lupus familiaris.

Regardless of the discussion above, actually this caterpillar is an elephant hawk moth larvae, or in scientific language called Deilephila elpenor, this is based on several sources that I found.

Young larvae are a yellowish white to green color. When they have finished growing, the larvae are a brown-gray color with black dots along the length of the body. Larvae have a backward curving spine or "horn" that is the same color as their body on the final abdominal segment. Fully grown larvae can measure up to 3 inches (7.62 cm) in length. They also weigh somewhere between 4 and 7.5 grams (0.14 and 0.26 oz); during their lifetime, they ingest a total of 11–30 grams (0.39–1.06 oz) of plant material. Read more Wikipedia
