Dubrovnik's Days and Nights

in #photography6 years ago

Some days ago @onceuponatime made a post about day and night (you can read the post here) asking which hours of the day we like better... Well, I'm more a night type of person as I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, its unique beauty and of course the silence.. So in today's post I will share with you some photos from a trip to Dubrovnik.. Both day and night photos.. Each hour of the day has its own kind of beauty to be honest. But night is way more charming... See by yourself...

One of the most iconic tourist destinations in the world!

It is indeed a beautiful place to visit!! :))

XAXAXA!!!

Χαχαχα!! Την λατρεύω!!

Dubrovnik is very beautiful. It has changed quite a bit from 2001 that I visited (I lived in Italy atm and ferry prices for Croatia were SO CHEAP from the port of Ancona).

Of course back then it was not (nowhere near) as touristic or popular as it is now (thanks to Games of Thrones) but it still was gorgeous as the medieval architecture there is some centuries old. Still, many attractions, shops and beauties (like the beauty in photo #9 lol) didn't exist back then from what I can remember.

I guess it took some time after the war for it to become a tourist destination again.. And of course Game of Thrones played a major role to the huge increase of visitors.. Unfortunately when I visited Dubrovnik the prices were really high :/

(And thank you for the compliment :)) haha)

I do not see Eliya in the night photos and I do not like this )

hahah The night ones are incredible without me being "involved" :))

it looks crazy! I love different loos from day and night!!!

Thank you very much! :)
