Corpus - An educational tour through the human body
Me and my wife took our oldest son to this exhibit called CORPUS today.
It is an educational walkthrough of the human body. You enter the ‘statue’ in the image through the rectum (I know, right, what the ...) and end up inside the human body.
The entire route takes you from the bones to the intestines, the colon, lungs, heart, stomache, mouth, nose and out through the ear. The tongue area actually had a huge mushy tongue you could stand in between all the teeth.
Unfortunately, it was prohibited to take pictures inside, but the tour was very wel set up. All walls and floors and ceilings were lined with crafted and molded panneling to give you the feel that you were really inside the human body. No ordinary wall can be seen.
There were a lot of animated screens with an audioguide telling the ins and outs of that particular place inside the body. It guided us through with strategically placed lights and employees opening new areas. Often those new areas would start with a sterographic animation or some other semi interactive experience while moving you up to the next level.
At the end, when you get out of the ear, your 8 stories up in the sky with a beautiful view of our dutch coastline in the distance.
After the guided tour there’s a diy tour all the way down again with all sorts of interactive educational stands and puzzles and games and whatnot.
I did manage to take this other picture of an eyeball inside the loby. Why ? Because my youngest who wasn’t allowed to come because of the minimum age of 6 has a weird fascination with eyeballs.
It was a great tour and I’m sure I’ll go again when the youngest hits the required age.

Reminds me of an episode of Rick and Morty
The minimum age is mostly because the first part is a guided audio tour which is quite hard on toddlers I assume. It’s not particular scary or anything so I guess that must be the reason. It takes about an hour/ hour and a half to go all the way up on the audio tour.
