Waiting For Nature Go Green

in #photography5 years ago

Not long ago, there was a time when people were posting tree photos for the #lookingup movement which meant to be some kind of encouragement for the Steem price to go up. Steem was at $0.2 or so and I saw many users were desperate.

Now Steem is up, at the moment of writing the external market says Steem is worth $0.48, so I guess it's safe to say that Steem price is double now.

Was the rise due to people posting looking up photos? No, of course not. No one is that naive to believe that. Price is determined by supply and demand and of course there is manipulation as well that should be taken into consideration.

Anyway, today I'm posting a green photo because I want nature to go green! Let's see if my magic works. So I'm going to post this photo, wait and see if it has some effect on nature.

The photo was taken last year at the end of October but as you can see, the tree is still green even though there are plenty of dry leaves on the ground.

The weather is warming up day by day, temperature is going higher and higher every day so I'm hoping to see green grass soon.

Unlike Steem price, which is always uncertain, spring is coming for sure, so I'll be back with some green photos soon. New ones, not from last year like this.

Thank you!

I just came to see the tree! :D

The tree is thankful and glad to have visitors :)

Hi @erikah. I was truly amazed to see the tree's view of nature, I remember with the word "Rebell as far as the eye can see, pedaling as far as the ocean stretches, Working as far as nature is developed."
Thanks for this

I'm glad to hear you like my big tree and thank you for those nice words, they are definitely meaningful. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Nature has provided invaluable beauty. I love nature very much, and I often take my children and family to the wild.

Thanks My Friend

Teaching children to protect and appreciate nature is the most important thing, as they are the next generation who has to protect nature.

Yes, that's what I taught my children
Tahnks for this @erikah

I couldn't agree more! I am just waiting for spring to flip its green leaves at me! I thought it was close and then, it snowed an inch one day, but of course, it melted right away.

I went out this morning to beautiful weather, but, it will need a few more of those to get those leaves popping. I am wondering what it will take to get that steem popping???

I hope you are having a brilliant day!

You're spoiling me again dear Denise! Thank you!
Let's hope those days are just around the corner and we're going to see some green soon.
Have a nice day and thank you again :)

Thank you! You do the same!

I hope steem continues to go up :) It is supposed to be summer here in this part of the globe but lately it has been gloomy and cloudy but we have not had rain for a few months now making everything dry. I want green too. I wanted to go hiking where there are greens but I might be disappointed because of the dry spell we have.

I know what you mean. Sometimes we have dry seasons, other time there's too much rain. Nothing is like it was before.
