Testing.. 1,2,3... testing
Those are one of very first shots with the new Helios 44-2. New for us of course, cause the lens itself is quite vintage.
I always wanted one of those that produce this lovely swirly bokeh besides the bubbles. It is like you were dancing among all those light bubbles.
Of course the fastest way it to shoot some flower. Any flower will do. It is all about the background. And it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The amount of light and distance between an object and the background matter here.
Some cabbage is good too. A bit out of focus, but it is a start of the lovely bokeh affair. A little preview of what it can do even in untrained hands.
And lastly my favourite shot of them all. Firstly because it is Dry Stuff and decaying plants and secondly because of that soft milkyness (is this even a word?).
No bubbles this time.

of these, I loved 3 and 5. 5 the most. for the soft twiggies, probably.
Helios 44-2, it sometimes produces unexpected results, but bokeh ... it is always very interesting )
It is...I don't play with it that much though. Usually got for my macro lens when I want yo shoot something "normal". The effects on the Helios are so cool though!
I want to try ... Helios and macro rings
