Meugang Photography: A Unique Tradition Towards the Holy Month of Ramadan in Aceh

Meugang is one of the traditions that exist in aceh. The tradition of Meugang or Makmeugang is a tradition that has been handed down in aceh. Meugang occurs three times within a year. The first one is Meugang (Toward the month of Ramadan), The second is Meugang Uroe Raya (Ahead of Eid al-Fitr) and The third Meugang Uroe Raya Haji (Ahead of Eid al-Adha). Although not an obligation, it is a must for the people of Aceh. It's tasteless when welcoming Ramadan or Lebaran without Meugang.
