Today is your 10th birthday. And how glad I am that you celebrate it here with me! I really would not know what I should do without you. You and Rowan are my anchors ... and I know that I am the same for you.

When you were a little puppy of 5.5 / 6 weeks you came to live with my sister. How little did we know. You were far too young actually to leave your mum, but we were told that you just had a small growth deficit and that you already were 8 weeks old. When we came to the vet with you for a check-up we heard that you were much younger. You were not older than 5.5 / 6 weeks. But even at that incredibly young age you were a real little go-getter.

What you put in your mind would happen that way! From the first day you showed your presence well. And you were a little vice! But so incredibly sweet that it was just impossible not to love you!

My sister had to work all day, and no matter how much I love her, I must admit that she has bought you in an impulse. And that would have gone almost wrong for you. Because with your incredibly young age, she could not possibly expect you to become potty-trained quickly if she could not give you enough attention.

After I had watched it for 2 days, I was convinced that both of you needed my help ... and from that day, every morning I went to you and Micky with Rowan, and brought you to my house. Then I was busy all day with all three of you and train you and Rowan together in basic obedience. This had quick results with you, because you could learn very quickly. You're just a very smart girl. And you really wanted to learn. "Working" is your lust and life ... But because I was the one who spent so much time with you and also sometimes used to be more strict when needed, it also meant that you listened to me ... but much less to my sister. And she was actually your real owner.

When you were 1 year old Gentle joined, and it became more and more clear. You liked my sister, you thought she was nice, but you really didn't want to listen to her. And she doubted more and more every day whether she could and would keep you. Whether or not she had to find a new owner for you. Simply because she could not handle you.

That is the moment that YOU and I have finally decided for each other. I could not stand that you did not get what you needed, and I could not bear the idea that you would not be with me anymore. I also knew that I would have to work hard with you ... But I knew much more than that. YOU were more than worth every second.

And how glad I am for you, and more WITH you! Together we have already experienced a lot. But we do it together, and of course with Rowan.
