Old film, old church, new age

in #photography6 years ago

I think it's important to keep the art of film photography alive. There's something ethereal about pulling a film roll out of the developer and getting to see all your patience and hard work finally come to fruition.

This shot is from Amsterdam, NY. I like the duality of the old streets and buildings with new cars. Progress is ever marching forward, but we still need to appreciate what got us here and the history behind it.

I shot this on a 1956 Ciro-flex Twin Lens Reflex camera on Ilford HP5 plus 400 speed black and white film. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
