Rosary with a message
This was a gift recently given to me by a close friend.
I often struggle with the idea that there is a higher power. Something that, in the face of turmoil and heartache, can give hope. We often lump the idea of a deity with fellow humans that make mistakes. For example, it was very hard for many to trust the Catholic Church after all of the scandals of improper activity by the priests. But it is also key to remember that if there is a God, despicable actions by a human should not have any bearing on the teachings that many holy books speak of. Love one another. Be kind. Don't speak ill of others. Give to others who are less fortunate. All great teachings.
While I consistently have doubts, this gift was truly a kind gesture. One that I will cherish.

Beautiful gift. God is there to pick up the pieces after humans make mistakes. We all have doubts, especially with Pope Francis, but we just offer these doubts up in prayer.
Hmm it's actually very difficult to not doubt , with the numerous events happening around us , science etc but I believe there is a more advanced being watching over us ....
