Small brook brings the flood / Kleiner Bach bringt die Flut
There are some small waterfalls in this stream. The creek is right next to my parents' house and usually there is not more water than in this photo.
In diesem Bach gibt es einige kleine Wasserfälle. Der Bach ist gleich neben beziehungsweise hinter meinem Elternhaus und normalerweise rinnt nicht mehr Wasser als auf diesem Foto.

The recent rains have not only caused flooding in the small village through this small stream, but have also caused floods and mudslides throughout the country.
Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to get into the village because the road was closed and I can not get away from home at the moment, so I cannot post photos of the current situation.
Durch die Regenfälle in den letzten Tagen ist es nicht nur durch diesen kleinen Bach zu Überschwemmungen in dem kleinen Dorf gekommen, sondern es hat im ganzen Land Überschwemmungen und Murenabgänge gegeben.
Leider hatte ich keine Gelegenheit bzw Chance, in das Dorf zu gelangen, weil die Straße gesperrt war und ich derzeit nicht von zu Hause fort komme, und so kann ich auch keine eigenen Fotos von der derzeitigen Lage posten.
Es gibt aber genügend Berichte in Zeitungen, TV und Online Medien darüber.

Ja, in der vergangenen Woche ist so mancher kleiner Bach zu einer reißenden Sturzflug angeschwollen... Ich hoffe deinen Eltern/deinem Elternhaus ist nichts passiert?
Und wirklich sehr schönes Foto! :)
Danke @melvin7, das Haus steht ein paar Meter höher als die anderen, aber direkt neben dem Bach, der vor einigen Jahren mit einem Damm gesichert worden ist. Aber unser Garten ist ziemlich überflutet worden... und einige Meter Brennholz schwimmen oder sind unter dem Geröll vernichtet... :(
Ohje... Aber zum Glück ist nichts schlimmeres passiert!
Schlimm genug, aber Gott sei Dank keine Verletzten oder sonstige größere Schäden - mal sehen, ob ich nächste Woche mal Zeit habe und nachschaue.
